"F" Week

Some of our new favorite books.

Bridget and Charlotte's Fairy Houses.

"F" week was Fantastic (yes, I am that corny)!  We read about frogs, fish, foxes, fairies and Saint Francis.  The girls favorite part of "F" week was making their very own fairy houses.  There is a wonderful series of fairy books by author Tracy Kane.  The girls loved reading Fairy Flight and Fairy Houses (they are new family favorites).  After learning all about fairies and their homes, the girls made little houses for the fairies who live in our woods.  The girls have been checking on their houses daily to see if there is any evidence of a fairy visit.

(So, I realize that we skipped all the way from "B" to "F".  The girls and I worked on C-E while they were battling pneumonia and then some more while we were in Florida.  We were able to do a lot of fun things during those few weeks but unfortunately I have no pictures to show from it.)
