Ice Skating

   Today the girls skated for the first time!  Charlotte absolutely loved every second of it.  Prior to getting on the ice she declared that she is an "ice skating expert" and that skating would be "no problem at all."  Well, she was more or less correct.  She did a great job skating on her own and had a lot of confidence on the ice. 
     Bridget also skated this morning and tried really hard.  She was much more tentative on the ice.  She didn't think it was going to be quite so slippery and she wasn't really happy about that.  She came off the ice a few times for some breaks and to recharge in confidence.  That said, she did a great job - she kept going out on the ice and trying!
      Joe desperately wanted to "play hockey" as he put it.  He was not happy that he was too young to participate in the class.
