To sum this day up I wanted to provide an article that really covers why we chose to homeschool by Father John Hardon. Our decision to homeschool was one that was based very much on our faith and our desire to pass that faith along to our children. We prayed for many many months about how best to educate the kids and I believe that this is God's call for our family at this time. We continue to pray for guidance on this issue and are planning on taking it one year at a time! I thank God that we have such an active and strong homeschool community in our town. All of the kids (and I) have made many friends in our homeschool community and I'm sure they will continue to be making more and more friends as the year goes on.
