I love our Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree that we will be putting letters on each week (Bridget is doing a letter each week).
|
All of my lessons plans, books, crafts that we'll be doing that week, sensory bins, etc!

Our calendar, Alphabet Chart, Weather Graph and Weather Panda! The kids adore dressing weather Panda. We still need to come up with a name for him. Suggestions are very welcome!

Our workboxes! I was made aware of the Workbox System in the past few months and thought I'd try it out. Each of the kids has a different color set of boxes. I customized little number tags for each of the kids with characters they like in particular (of course the girls have Disney Princess Tags). The basic idea is that the kids will complete their workboxes one at a time and when they have gotten through all of them, they are done. Each workbox has one complete project in it, to include all of the supplies that they would need to do that project. The kids are guided through the day by their workbox cards pictured below. There is a card for each day of the week and on that card I velcro what we are doing during school on that day. On the one below we did Circle Time, Completed the worksheets/crafts/etc in Workboxes 1-6, had a snack, did some reading, worked on the rest of our workboxes and then did our Religion Lesson. I actually didn't have 6 workboxes for the kids to complete today but they still wanted to put all of their numbers on their cards. I think they like seeing all of the pictures - which is fine by me (it reinforces learning their numbers)!

The adorable pencil cases we got from the Learning Express. The kids were so surprised and they absolutely loved them!
Our Classroom is something that I am extremely proud of! We have been working all summer to convert our dining room into a classroom for the kids. Here are some pictures of the final outcome. I'm sure we'll make some tweaks along the way, but I am very happy with how it has turned out.
Congratulations to the future leaders .... Whatever, where ever life may lead them. Family is what is most important, follow your heart in doing what is right and you will never go wrong.
